Two: Being Born in a Graveyard Called Afghanistan

We are not limited by where we have been born. The question of Where Are You From is the foundation of racism and supremacy! Asking this question as an information or a research of some historical figure or to get to know where a person has born is okay, but when you get this information and then judge and limit that person by that birthplace, here the problems begin!
Rumi the world’s most known Persian Poet is born in Afghanistan and no one even give a damn about it. The Rumi himself is important. Neither Iran because of the Persian language and nor Afghanistan as his birthplace, can own him geographically! He chose his own living place where he felt peace and being listened, cherished and understood. Now he does not even belong to the Turkey just because he has been buried there. He belongs to the whole world and this belonging is beyond the boundaries.
When we hold to this worldwide belonging, then that piece of map called as country loses its meaning. This means, we all need to get the hell out of political boundaries to accept each other without any supremacy.
Now the current world is not as what poetry I have wrote in above words. It’s now the world of papers, the world of documents, you have to carry your passport in order o get the hell out of that tiny puzzle in the world map called as your country!
My believe is, wherever you live in peace is your country. The place where you will never get killed by your very human thoughts, by your speech and by being who truly you are.
It has been more than a year I have left Afghanistan. I left because of my daughter’s future; it was hard for me to imagine her future there. I left because I wasn’t able to hold my thoughts within me to experience a gradually death. When you are aware of being wasted in a place, it’s not that place is prison, this awareness is your prison. Awareness is a gradual death! I had the disease of awareness and I had to live somewhere I can bear my disease with a little life!
People are alive there, but the majority aren’t aware of being wasted or considered as human wastage in the eye of world’s super powers! The current world, does not care what the hell is going on in Afghanistan, why education is banned for girls, why humans are being slaughtered by their beliefs. The world only cares about its untouched natural resources! That is the real focal point! For politics, benefit is always the focal point, not the humans, not the hunger and not the human slaughtering in the name of religion!
That’s why I left their because I was infected by awareness! I can die happy when my daughter says thank you dad for taking us out of that hell! A fairy tale, that I was always dreamed to hear from my own father.
Wherever you are safe, in peace and happy is your country and I think every human being deserve to live this way.
